Guitar Lessons
We offer guitar, bass and mandolin lessons in your home at $25 per half hour lesson. Why spend your time and money driving to and from a music studio for lessons? If you live near Almont, Romeo or Shelby Township, MI there is a better way…
One-on-one instruction. Each lesson is geared towards the individual’s goals and style of learning. You or your child will be taught by an experienced, capable instructor.
Real-world examples are used to bring purpose to lessons. Lessons focus not only on content but also on motivation and reaching goals that the student and teacher set together.

About myself:
I have been playing guitar since 1982. I began studying classical music and won an American Guild of Music national championship in 1985. I have played with rock, blues and several world music bands. I have been a guest on the nationally syndicated Mitch Albom show multiple times. I have taught out of my home or in student’s homes since 1996.
I own a recording studio that I use to record bands and do commercial work. My playing can be heard in two songs on the soundtrack for the film Fleeting Images which was awarded by the Independent Film Channel.
I graduated with honors from Oakland University with a bachelors degree in computer science and a minor in physics. Elective college courses included music theory and ensembles. I live with my two young boys and an Australian Shepherd named Blue. Hobbies outside of music include hiking, organic gardening and playing Spiderman with my sons.
Best of luck with all of your plans – musical or otherwise. I hope to talk to you soon.
